LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Thursday that the entire nation was proud of late pilot Marium Mukhtiar.
The chief minister lauded Mukhtiar’s role and said that ‘she wasa brave daughter of Pakistan and a role model for the entire nation’. He said that the flying officer had God-givencapabilities and daughters like her were a beacon of light for the entire nation as by joining the air force, Mukhtiar displayed confidence, courage and passion.
“Her actions show that the country’s women are no less than any females of the developed countries,”Shahbaz said and added that the nations having such talented daughters always succeeded.
